Bio
Maida Wolff begins her third season as Mount Mary University Volleyball Coach in the Fall of 2026.
Wolff is the former head women's volleyball coach and men's assistant volleyball coach at Cardinal Stritch University, where she also played under MMU Athletic Director Natalie Balleto as a Volleyball Student Athlete.
Coach Wolff steered the Blue Angel Volleyball team to history making night on September 4th, 2025. The 3-1 win over Calumet College was the first NAIA win and first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory for the volleyball program or any Blue Angel team.
Upon her graduation from Cardinal Stritch in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management, Wolff served as a Graduate Assistant in the Sports Management department (earning a Master's of Science in Sport and Recreation Business), while also serving as an assistant Volleyball Coach at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.
In January of 2021, Wolff was elevated to Head Volleyball Coach at Cardinal Stritch. While serving as the head coach at Cardinal Stritch, Wolff shone in recruiting, landing multiple difference making new players in her tenure leading the Wolves.
Wolff had this to say regarding taking leadership of the Blue Angel Volleyball team, "Thank you to Natalie Balleto and the other athletic staff members for giving me the opportunity to lead this program. I am honored to become a part of Mount Mary and equip these ladies with the many life lessons that the sport brings both on and off the court."
Director of Athletics, Natalie Balleto added, "We are thrilled to have Maida join our Athletics staff. She brings great experience as a former collegiate student-athlete and collegiate head coach. I am excited to see the volleyball program excel to higher levels under her leadership and for our players to elevate themselves in new ways on and off the court!"
