Milwaukee, Wis. --- The Sabercats of Maranatha Baptist were welcomed into the Bloechl Center by the Mount Mary University Blue Angels. This is the second matchup this season between the two non-conference teams. The Blue Angels dominated this matchup, 76-37. This win secured a season sweep for the Blue Angels over the Sabercats.
Box Score Highlights:
- Three Blue Angel starters recorded 15-plus points. Leading the way was Mikkalla Robertson (Milwaukee, Wis.) with 16 points. Deja Rivers (Kenosha, Wis.) and Deriya Wilson (Milwaukee, Wis.) contributed 15 points apiece. Rivers shot 50% from behind the arc.
- Robertson grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds.
- Vanessa Diaz (Kissimmee, Fla.) swiped six steals of the team's 18.
- Wilson totaled four assists while Diaz and Robertson each added three apiece.
- The Blue Angels defense scored a whopping 34 points off of Sabercat turnovers.
