Grand Rapids, Mich. -- The Blue Angels of Mount Mary University (MMU) played in game two of their season opening trip to Michigan. They played against Grace Christian University (GCU) Tigers and got their second win of the season.  

The Blue Angels led for the entirety of the game which resulted in a convincing win 78-44 against the Tigers.  

Highlights from the Game: 

• 14 total Blue Angels scored in the game. Leading Mount Mary was Mikkalla Robertson (Milwaukee, Wis.) with 14 points. Avery Gorn (Waterford, Wis.), Sanai Ballard (Highland, Ind.) and Ameri Lawson (Racine, Wis.) added eight points each. 

• The Blue Angels scored a whopping 43 bench points. 

• MMU out-rebounded GCU and picking up a team high of nine boards was Camille Powell (Snellville, Ga). 

• The Blue Angels knocked in nine three pointers. Vanessa Diaz (Kissimmee, Fla.), Rionne Turner (Milwaukee, Wis.), Brooklyn McKenzie (Milwaukee, Wis.), Na'Zyia Bobo (Kenosha, Wis.), each added in one while Ballard and Gorn added in two apiece.  

The Blue Angels basketball team will return next for their home opener.
