Amanda Nance Named CCAC Player of the Week
Mount Mary softball standout Amanda Nance has been named Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference player of the week.
Nance recorded not only the greatest hitting week in the history of Mount Mary softball, but also one of better stretches of slugging seen nationally this season.
Between April 21st and 25th, in seven games, Nance collected 5 home runs, nine runs driven in, and carried a .444 batting average. She hit home runs in four consecutive games and in 5 out of 6 games.
In addition, her seventh home run of the season matched the Mount Mary single season record, set by Katie Edwards over ten seasons ago.
