Mount Mary Featured Student Athlete Brianna Lupa
Brianna Lupa, a junior from Plano, Illinois, has re-written the record books in the pitching circle for the Blue Angel softball program. Lupa was named second team all-conference last season, and established new single season records for pitching wins and strikeouts. She is on pace to literally hold every program pitching record for Blue Angel softball. Lupa always helps her cause at the plate as well, most notably with a walk-off home run against Rockford last season, a win which tied a program high for single season victories.
Brianna answered some questions for the MMU athletic communication department earlier this week.
